I am in a portal, go to related record in new window, need to close that window and have cursor in the QTY field of that portal record.

I have the Record ID, but cannot seem to get back to it. Wants to go to that field, but to the first portal row. Can't seem to do a find for Record ID and get there. What's the solution?

It depends: if the related record has the same position in the found set as it does in the portal, you can get the record's record number while in the new window, then go to the portal row with the same number. Otherwise you'd need to loop on the portal rows until the ID's match.
