Newbies sepideh Posted May 6, 2011 Newbies Posted May 6, 2011 Hi I am a user of Filemaker Pro 10, and I have a problem: I have a portal in a layout which has several rows, and each row has an id, and also a field called position. Sometimes there are a few portal rows with same id , but different values in position field. Now I want to have those rows of the portal which have a specific id (let's say 3) in another layout. How can I write a script so that I can just have those portal rows with id=3 in portal row format in my new layout? I will really appreciate any help. Best, Sepideh
Fitch Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 You could make a script that sets the id of the row you click into a global variable, then goes to your other layout. E.g.: Set Variable( $$selected_ID ; related::id ) Go to Layout( B ) On layout B, filter the portal by the global variable, with a calc like: id = $$selected_ID
