My layout contains a drop down list that is 'minimized' when accessed via the browser on an iPad - see attached. How can I increase the size of the drop-down list - I'm happy for it use the entire iPad display width if required).

I'm using IWP and when I access this via a desktop I can view the full text.

The drop-down list is populated via a value list which displays values from twos field in a table.

Btw, increasing the width on layout has no effect unfortunately - see here. I would be OK with the drop-down list taking the whole page as the definitions aiding the user-selection are vital.

Any other ideas? I'm trying to use a portal concept now but it's a hassle as it doesn't "update" dynamically.

Is the width is a limitation of the iOS UI?

Agreed! Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Either a way to increase the width or a work around for it? I am beginning to create layouts for my company so that we can transition to taking iPads on client visits, rather than laptops and this width limitation is frustrating. Using checkboxes and/or radio buttons aren't always the best replacement, especially if "other" values are allowed for those fields.

(oops...currently on FM 12 Advanced, OS 10.9, FM Go 12 & 13...guess I need to update my profile.)

I’m confused, have you already updated your profile or are you using version 13  and  still need to do so?

If it is the latter, the here is a quick link for you, MY PROFILE
