Suppress summary of single record?

I prepare a Sales report that categorizes each sale into a heirarchy of about 5 levels; eg. sales by city, then state, then country. I'd like to NOT display sub-summaries for any level that contains only one record. When one product goes to one location, say ice to an eskimo, I now have to look at the same data being summarized all the way up the heirarchy; ice to eskimoes, to Alaska, to Alaska and Hawaii, and you get the picture.

Is there a way to hide sub-summaries when there is only one entry?

Nope. Being an old post, I presume I'm not the only one here that didn't catched it...

Well Wayne if you're still looking for an answer, try posting it again more precisely. wink.gif

What Wayne is asking is pretty clear. He simply doesn't want to see subsummaries for groupings containing only ONE record, because you already know the summary by looking at the record itself.

This is probably possible if you use calculation fields in place of your summary fields. They would somehow check how many records are in the grouping, and if more than one, =the summary field, otherwise blank.

Maybe someone else has an idea about how that calculation might work?
