Change the editbox border i Conditional formatting

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is this possible to change the Editbox border color dynamically by based on another record value.

In my application if Qualification is selected from dropdown . Then the department editbox should shown. Other wise it is in hide state. Initially the department edit box ahould be invisible.

I try to change the edit box background color as background color of the application. But can't change the border color using the conditional formatting.

Thanks,

Conditional formatting only applies to text objects, not object borders. I've put a text object behind a field, with the edges of the text object 1 pixel bigger to simulate the field border.

Another work-around for "hiding" fields is to use a hidden tab panel and a script trigger on Object modify that conditionally "shows" the desired tab panel.
