Can I set the page size to 11x17 rather than the default 8.5x11? I have looked at the file options and cannot figure this one out.

This will be under File ---> Page Setup... It is, however, dependent upon the printer and printer driver you are using. This is one of those areas where information is used both by FM and the printer, FM for the page size and the printer for such things as automatic try selection.
