'Set Field' on number field with leading zeros

Hi,

OSX, FMPA 11.03.

I'm working with UPC barcodes and scanners. I scan the code to a global number field then use 'Set Field' to get it into the correct UPC number field.

Problem is the UPCs have 3 leading zeros. The leading zeros show correctly in the global, are dropped by 'set field'.

Can i make 'Set field' to keep the zeros without adding them as a calc (which seems redundant).

Using 'Set field' with getastext(barcode) works.

Things with leading zeros are text, so both your fields should be of type Text.
