January 28, 200224 yr You could run a script that finds the record, duplicates it 9 times, prints, then deletes all but one copy of the record. HTH, Dan
January 28, 200224 yr I believe I can figure this out, but could you tell me how you might do the script you are talking about. One thing is that these tapes generate automatically a serial number when a new record is created...can I still accomplish this without starting a whole bunch of new serial numbers? Thanks Ryan Crowell
January 28, 200224 yr It might be easier to create another file containing however many duplicates of the same record that you need. When you need to print labels again, just delete all the records and start over.
January 29, 200224 yr Newbies Hi, here are a couple of articles in the FileMaker support database which may be helpful: Easy 101502, More Complicated 101772 Cheers, Victoria
January 29, 200224 yr You could probably save yourself a lot of time and hassle if you just create a new layout with the fields laid out to be printed on 10 labels. When you print, just print the current record.
January 29, 200224 yr Author Bridge has the idea -- create a layout with 10 copies of the same (print) field, placed properly. What burns me is that I've done this, and yet I forgot all about it. WTG, Bridge!
January 29, 200224 yr quote: What burns me is that I've done this, and yet I forgot all about it. It's fresh in my mind -- I had to do the same thing myself recently.
January 29, 200224 yr I need to know how to print multiple labels of the same record. I have created a tape database that sometimes needs 10 labels of the same record printed out. Any ideas on how to accomplish this. Ryan Crowell [email protected]
