Preview Mode - and monthly statement w/ payment plans

Featured Replies

I'm not sure this fits here and I know it's Friday night - but I am at a total loss. I have figured my way around everything else - but I have no clue as to where to go on this.

I am getting ready to print monthly statments. One set of statments have payment plans attached to the original invoice.

When I do my find on any invoices that are Payment Plans - everything comes up fine. In Browse mode - each invoice is listed and the payment plan portion is filled out for the orignal invoices. I then Sort on - Client ID and Invoice ID to get the information grouped together. Still looks fine in Browse mode. Then I flip to Preview mode.

Here is my problem. The payment plan section of the screen that is showing is for the invoice that does not have the payments attahced (or not the original invoice). How do I get the orginal invoice to always show in the payment plan portion of the screen during Preview mode?

I was thinking an additional sort of some sort - but am having no luck.

Please help - I was/am taking this in to import in the morning and just found this problem!!!!!

"One set of statments have payment plans attached to the original invoice."

Therefore, one set of statements does not have pp's attached.

As a result (and for your convenience) it may be necessary to use two different layouts. Navigation then can be established to the appropriate layout during the find process.

I already have two different statments - a NET 30 statement and a Payment Plan statment. I still need the payment amounts showing on the payment plan statment even though they do not have payment plans attached to them.

I guess I don't follow what you are saying. I need the payment plan amounts - both the purchase and the payments to show up on the statment, but then I want the original purchase to be what shows in the payment plan portion of the layout when in Preview Mode.

Can you please describe your idea in more detail or if someone has can explain or has another idea I would love to hear it.

Thanks!!!

I hope I may have spoken to soon - I just Sorted on the invoice# descending and it's looking like a want.

Let's hope that works!!!!
