Substitute ( field ; "/" ; "\"\" )

I can not get it to work. I want to find all / in a field and change it to \. I realize I am mis-escaping it but I do not understand it. I have been sitting in the calculation box for 15 minutes now and cannot get out. Or maybe I've been sitting here for days ... it feels like it.

I don't know what it is called so I can't look it up. I tried 'escaping' but no results. I tried \ but not enough characters.
