Problems printing to pdf

Featured Replies

Hi.

When I print a report to acrobat then I don't get the "save as" dialog anymore, as I used to.

I only get "Print status" and after a while the print job is canceled and FlieMaker freeze.

When I print to pdf from Word everything goes as usual, acrobat launches and the pdf file is made.

Do I need to update a driver for the acrobat distiller?

Have anyone answer to this problem?

Hi there,

I'm trying to print to Acrobat as well. What version of FM and Acrobat are you running?? I've gotten the Acrobat 5 distiller to automatically print my pdf files, but ony after converting them first manually to .eps from FM 5.5v1 . Are you automatically generating the .pdf's from FM?? If so, how?? I'm so curious...thanks!!

I don't have answers to either issue, but I'm printing to Acrobat 4.0 directly from FM 5.5 using the PDF print driver, not Distiller. This seems to work fine.

Hi.

Steinvegas, I followed your tip, installed PDFwriter, and it works fine now, but now it works fine also with acrobat distiller?:?

I use FM 5.5 and Acrobat 5.0.

Thanks,

Reynir.

I have similar question. I use FM 5.5 and PDFwriter 5.0. Since I want to print to the same file is there a way to avoid a dialog asking for a file name?

Greetings.
