Every 7th label address is not printed!

I am using FM 8.5 on a Mac with a database of 50 labels. i am using the supplied template for Avery label L7161 (18 labels per each A4 sheet) and it all lines up and prints lovely EXCEPT every 7th address in the database is not printed! I confirm that 18 labels are printed per page and that the page is set to A4.

The labels are printed down and then across. Why would FM omit printing what would be the 7th (and, thus, off the page) label of every column?

Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation?

Roger

Your printer's default page margins are probably too large. See this page for information on setting margins.

Thank you for your help. I seem to have got all labels to print by setting all four margins to 0.99cm.

Don't know why!

Roger

For the sake of others, may I reprint the following response to a query about how to find label templates for labels not listed in FMP as supplied, specifically, L7161 labels:

All Avery labels beginning with the letter "L" are A4 sizes. In the FMP application folder go to the subfolder Extensions:Labels(inactive). There is a list of country specific label files here. I know the file called LabelsAus.flb includes all the metric Avery labels. Move this file to the Extensions:Labels folder.

This should solve the problem - well it does in Australia anyway!

Thank you! This is good to know!
