finding ALL related records

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've 2 tables, Jobs and Invoices. Each job can have a number of invoices

What I want to do is find all the invoices done in November, but also include in the found record set all the other invoices for those jobs which did have at least one invoice in November.

I thought it would be easy but I come to a complete block

cheers in advance

MJK

Find the jobs that did have at least one invoice in November. Then do Go to Related Record [from Invoices; Match found set].

hmmm... must be doing something wrong

layout is based on Jobs table, using the TO jobs_invoices_JobID to find 115 invoices done in November (a couple of Jobs had more than 1 in Nov and the found set shows them), then goto related match found set but still only get 115 records - shoud be another 20 odd

ah! I was using the same layout and needed to change layouts in the go to related records bit !

thanks
