Highlighting and Navigation problems

I am completely stuck.

I created one table and one self-join relationship. I put a portal in the layout.

The portal has three fields. RecNum (Calculation), Field1 (Text), Field2 (Text).

Each of the columns in the portal has the possibility of sorting data. Just

by pressing the column header in the portal. Depending on the sort order of

rows changed in the portal. RecNum displays the row number.

Up to this point everything works as expected. (Copy database in the attachment)

What I wanted to do?

1. Highlighting Rows in the portal

I based on the following article where a similar situation is described. There is no self-join relation there. My attempts to modify ended in failure.

http://homebasesoftw...sts-or-portals/

2. Going to the next record (according to the RecNum order)

RecNum is a calculated value. There are two buttons (Previous & Next). Now I can

change the records in a standard way. I would like to have the RecNum values assigned to Previus and Next buttons.

I am sorry for my English. It is not my native language.

1) OK. its working but …

I have set „Go to Related Record” for „Portal Row Indicator” in „Button Setup”

This function works but the Highlighting does not change.

Probably the same reason when I change the record (arrows) highlighting does not change too.

2) I'll try to explain. Now the first point is most important for me

Do you have any idea? I can't find any similar example.
