Upgraded to 10.6 Server Snow Leopard, Super Container no longer working

Featured Replies

So, I'm pretty sure this is something stupid on my part and not a Super Container problem, but I'm hoping that someone has run into this issue:

For reasons that are too annoying to relate, I needed to upgrade my server running FMS 11 from the perfectly functional 10.5.8 Server to 10.6.8 Server.

FileMaker Server is working perfectly. I reinstalled SuperContainer, getting the most recent version, but when I attempt to log into my FileMaker database, SuperContainer throws an error that it can't connect. When I try to point my browser to localhost/SuperContainer/ nothing happens.

I've been banging my head against this for a couple of days but can't find anything that's changed. All the updates were applied...Java is up to date. I'm totally at a loss.

Has anyone got any suggestions or run into this? At this point, I'll try anything.

Thanks!

Sean it may be an issue with not having Tomcat installed? I think I had to do that when I upgraded. http://www.malisphoto.com/tips/tomcatonosx.html

Stephen,

I'll give this a try and let you know how it works out. Thanks for the suggestion :)

In case anyone else runs into this: The solution was as simple as reinstalling FileMaker Server 11. FileMaker didn't like the installation of PHP that came with 10.6 and reinstalling FMS 11 and allowing FMS to install its version of PHP solved the problem.
