Using FileMaker 11, what is the simplest way to connect a single checkbox to a script such as delete related?

I believe the simplest way would be to use a button. What would your checkbox be showing?

Its just for a small row so the button would be tiny but I wanted to learn how to do it anyway.

That's fine, but you need to explain what "it" is. A checkbox is a field formatted in a special way. Clicking a checkbox is supposed to toggle the field's value - not initiate an action that affects the entire record, like deleting it.
