October 17, 200124 yr This is addressed to CaptKurt, and anyone else who may have worked with Waves In Motion's Analyzer 3 and FileMaker Devloper 5.5. Another thread got exercised heavily in the pros and cons of FMD 5.5 upgrade, and I am not asking to re-open that discussion. Rather, I would like anyone with experience using the new Analyzer 3 to give a review of it. Because Analyzer 3 requires FMD 5.5, I would prefer to hear about Analyzer 3 only. If it is as good as it is purported to be by WIM, a purchase of FMD and Analyzer would be worthwhile. If it is not, I would eschew purchase of either, as version 5.0 of Developer suits me fine. (Gee, I have always wanted to use "eschew" in a sentence.) Specifically, here are questions that I have in determining whether to invest in the two products or not. How reliable is Analayzer? I have been disappointed in version 2 and its finicky compatability with extensions

If so, it is worth a drive down to Santa Clara for me to see it for myself. Moon [ October 17, 2001: Message edited by: Moon Mullins ]
October 17, 200124 yr It is a Filemaker developers user group. I am not exactly sure on membership criteria, but the meetings are open to the public. Although there is possibly a charge for non-members. Check http://www.digfm.org/ for more information about the organization.
October 18, 200124 yr Author Thanks for the tip, Kurt. I will try to make the meeting. I still welcome user experiences and feedback on Analyzer 3.
