February 21, 201213 yr Hi. I'm trying to make a chart based in a field with 2 values (male/female), to get a simple visual comparison of how many men and women are there in a table that is basically a list of people. I'm new to the program but I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks a lot!
February 22, 201213 yr Author Hi Vaughan Thanks, I've done that and I have the subtotals of each value. But the thing is, how can I use them in a chart?
February 25, 201213 yr Author Nobody can help me with this? If it's not possible to do it that way, any suggestion on how to organize the table to get the comparison would be appreciated. I can't believe no one ever thought of doing such a simple chart...
February 25, 201213 yr I haven't checked it but there is a file attachment by comment on this thread http://fmforums.com/forum/topic/82582-compare-records-in-chart/page__fromsearch__1 that compares records in a chart. It may be of some help
February 25, 201213 yr I believe this one is much simpler: GenderChart.zip Notes: 1. This reflects the found set only; 2. Records must be sorted by Gender.
February 27, 201213 yr Author That last one will do for my purposes. So you need a summary field in order to count how many people are there in order to count the male and female %. Thank you very much!
