when i create a layout the margins and borders are ok

when i go to browse mode the form edges go on for ever to the right and below.

when opening templates this does not happen and what you see is pretty much what I want.

I have looked at the set-up/prefs but cannot see what to do

please help

ps i am very new to this but an experienced Mac user of 12 years

This is just the display convention that FM uses in Browse mode. It doesn't cause any problems. We seldom enter data on the layout we use to print anyway.
