Newbies kat42 Posted March 6, 2012 Newbies Posted March 6, 2012 I need to disable peer-to-peer file sharing among my users and force them to use the FileMaker Server for all file sharing. Does anyone know which Windows Registry keys can be used to permanently disable P2P sharing in Filemaker Pro client? Thanks!
bcooney Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 But, they cannot share a file that they do not have. Are you saying that they create new FM files and share them, rather than come to you to host the file on the server? (btw, I do not know of any way to disallow peer-to-peer).
capsprojectos Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 There are installation commands to prevent some features like, let user to create another databases. Also can be other command to avoid peer-to-peer.
