I've just started getting a message saying "Do you wish to save this change with the layout" everytime I alternate between Form, List & Table views.

Any ideas?:?????

As far as I know, this is a normal message and not an error. It relates to whether you wish to leave the layout in the new format or have it revert to the last stored selection.

But it appears whether I have made any alterations or not.

Everytime you switch view types it will ask you this. That is just the way it is.
