Do Filemaker Pro 8 and Filemaker Poro Advanced work in OS 10.7?

It's not as simple as yes/no because generally FMP works for almost any given value of "works" even right down to FMP 6.

By that I mean that (for instance) the instant web publishing might not work, or the client might crash on non-english installations, or the printing might not work quite right. If these features aren't critical to what you want to use it for then yeah, it works. :)

Although FileMaker upgrades are, in my opinion, shamefully expensive, I believe it's worth it, in your case, to upgrade to version 11. It will cost you less than I spent going 8,9,10,11! There are just so many features available, like layout merge fields, filtered portals, and many others. I can't really remember version 8 although that's where I began.
