hi guys, i am completely clueless with this. thinking of setting up a VPN for my 3 offices in different location, where the server has a static ip. using OPENVPN

questions,

i somehow setup the deployment with my local host ip (127.0.0.1)with port 80, how can i change that? i tried edit deployment but it doesn't show me the option of changing it. i wanted to change it to 8081 because my router has occupied that port. and what ip should i use for VPN IWP hosting setup?

and another big issue, it came with a sample database where in the database screen, all options are checked with green ticks,

i tried uploading my own database but only FMpro is checked, i cant find an option to enable IWP for that particular database, is there somewhere i can select such option? during the deployment, my server advance has enabled IWP.

been googling for days but no clue at all, or maybe i am too lousy in looking up for info. Please shed some light on this because i am trying to setup all these structures so that i can focus on maintaining the database.

once again, sorry for my ignorance. your input is greatly appreciated.

Shermund

Before uploading a file to your server you must enable the fmiwp extended privilege to the accounts that need IWP access. See File > Manage > Security and Extended Privileges.

Have you read the IWP documentation yet? - it's installed with your FileMaker application.
