Filemaker 11 Server and File Maker 12 to go compatible?

I am not able to connect to my server ( Filemaker 11 Server) on my iPod touch with the (free) FileMaker to GO 12.

I am able to connect with the older paid version of Filemaker To go 11.

On my ipod touch in Filemaker go to Open File Browser then to my server's address - no databases appear -( although they do show up fine when using Filemaker to Go 11 on the same device/settings/etc)

They are not compatible.
