May 1, 201213 yr Does anyone have any experience of getting ScanSnap to automatically store scans in SuperContainer via Filemaker? Thanks Nick Lightbody Deskspace Systems Limited
June 12, 201213 yr Hi Nick, I have done a number of solutions where you drop the document(s) into the scanner, press the scan button and it prompts your to add them to a specific customer record for example or just auto attaches it to the record you are currently viewing. I'm not offering a free solution, but we do have a solution to this. The solution is mac only, unless you happen to be very skilled in windows scripting then perhaps we could partner to get the unreliable windows solution I have to work consistently. Feel free to contact me.
July 5, 201213 yr We have a free solution that is cross-platform, if you're willing to run FM12. You'll find it at http://www.fullcityconsulting.com. You'll see that our sample file inserts scans into a container field, but you can customize the example script to do SuperContainer, or simply execute your own script instead. The solution requires FM12 because I'm using the 12 version of fm url protocol, which can run a script and pass parameters. The old fm7 url protocol cannot do this. Hope this helps, -jb
