Can't hear the Beep sound?

I have the beep sound in one my scripts and it just doesn't sound.

I tried to run a script with just the beep sound and still nothing. Is there a setting to enable sounds. The speakers are on and the volume is up high?

Any thoughts?. Thanks so much.

I'd run the script on another computer to see or in this case hear if it beeps. If it does beep on the other computer, could be a hardware problem with a sound card perhaps. Make sure you don't have the sound muted.
