MirrorSynch Mac Installer problems

Featured Replies

I set up a FileMaker Advanced Server 11.v4, added my databases to it, then opened MirrorSync 1.01 "Mac Installer" Unfortunately, I ran into an error that exited the installer after clicking "OK".

I followed the path, and sure enough, that file did not exist. I duplicated another file ending in ".conf", modified it with TextEdit and saved it as "mod_proxy.conf".

Ran installer again and got a bit further before this error occurred:

Again, I followed the path and found no file named "logging.properties", so I did the same as earlier — duplicated a file ending in ".properties, opened it in TextEdit, deleted all content except the top line from FileMaker, renamed it, then continued with the installation.

Now, I get a 404 error when navigating to the URL as displayed.

I guess I could use some help at this point.

Thanks in advance,

I fixed it. Since I had installed previously both FMSA-11 and FMSA-12, the installer apparently thought i still had 12 installed.

I uninstalled both, removed everything in the /Library/FileMaker Server folder except my server plug-ins and data folders, then re-installed and all went smoothly.
