Hyperlinks in text fields

Very new to FM, how to put hyperlinks in a text field so they are clickable & launch a browser as in eg Office docs ?

thanks in advance

Probably the best way is to put the hyperlink in a field ... use whole name of link e.g. ... http://www.collectpapermoney.com.

Make the field into a button that runs a script which uses the script step: "Open URL" and specify the field you have it entered into.

That will launch the browser and pull up the page. Also, you can format the field text to be blue underlined if you want to give the illusion that it is hypertext link.

I hope that helps.

Cael.

Hi,

I'm also trying to do this without much joy. My problem is, if you insert a button it runs the same script from every record, i need it to be different. any hints?
