Trying to work between windows 98 and windows 2000

Can someone help me. I am trying to print using windows 2000 machine and nothing is happening. When I use the same application on a windows 98 machine there is no problem.

The printer otherwise on the 2000 machine seems fine. I can print using MS Word.

What is going on?:?

What do you mean "nothing is happening" when you try to print on the Win2000 machine?
