Deploy Update via Server?

The question has come up if Filemaker updates can be deployed by the server or if each client needs to download and install updates individually.

it can not be done by FMS, but FMP supports network and silent installs if you are using that technology (like Microsoft SMS or whatever it is called nowadays)
