Is it possible to create matrix report in FileMaker?

The Scenario is that, i want to make a guesthouse application in which i want in left column it show the room number and room name and then it show the number of room booking. I am attaching here an image to make understand.

Are your days of the month a repeating field ?

How are you entering the data?

a sample of the application would really let us help you better, however, assuming it is a repeating field you can use the "Extend" function to do what you need.

Are you wanting a pivot table/cross-tab report? If so...

I was looking into this recently as well. I will probably be using this product, since it's not an easy task to build from scratch in FileMaker: http://www.clevelandconsulting.com/cc_pivot/

If you really need it in your own database, search for pivot table and cross tab report - there have been some discussions on FMForums.com about it.
