Newbies Full Moon Loon Posted November 3, 2012 Newbies Posted November 3, 2012 I just joined this forum site hoping to find some help. First I went to the Articles, Tips, Techniques & Solutions page. However on there is says to please DO NOT post FileMaker questions or requests in that forum. This forum (Feedback & Site News) says it is not for FileMaker support... and the only other thing I see is Blogs. Where can I go to ask a question of more seasoned developers? I am pretty new to FileMaker, but not new to database development or even form development, so I thought it would be fairly easy to learn FMP. I have FileMaker Pro Advanced v12. Please tell me where I can go to ask a question, thank you.
dansmith65 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 http://fmforums.com/forum/index/. Scroll down until you see a category that your question fits in.
Raybaudi Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 From the top menu: Forums >> Site Index then you'll choose from the long list probably: Database Schema & Business Logic or The Presentation Layer
LaRetta Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Hi Full Moon, welcome to FMForums!! Try to post in the area that fits but don't worry about it if it is wrong because Lee will move it for us. He is a hawk! The important thing is to ask the question and there are many great folks here willing to assist. :^)
qube99 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Yeah just post it in the best place you can think of and the moderators will move it if needed. You'll catch on soon enough. Also, learn how to post zipped FMP files for folks to look at.
Lee Smith Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Lee will move it for us. He is a hawk! :bigshades:
LaRetta Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 In a good way Lee! I mean you keep things organized and spot things others miss! :^)
Lee Smith Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 :giggle2: I was just giving you a bad time. :)
