hi everyone,

                   I want to add features of spotlight in filemaker,to search the records in all the tables of particular field of a filemaker file.I want the spotlight as MAC.

You want a type-ahead search all the fields of all the tables, have a pop-up list show the results, and then click on a result to be taken to that record? Hm...Theoretically, I think it can be done, but not simply. It would probably take at least heavy use of ExecuteSQL(), FileMaker's Design functions, script triggers, an OnTimer script, and virtual lists.
