FM 12 Pro Adv - Layout messed up - no data in Browse

Featured Replies

Had a layout with labels on the left and fields on the right. The fields were partially on top of the labels and I simply wanted to move them off to the right.

I slid the right palette margin line some number of px to the right to make room. I grabbed all the fields and moved them some number of px to the right.

Now it's messed up Browse mode. See BadLayout3.jpg. And I can't seem to get the fields to show data except for the top field in the array. All I did was attempt to move the fields.

Anyone know how I can get them to show? Using the Inspector, noting that the fields that don't show data have some different characteristics than the one field that does show. For instance, the QuickFind is greyed out. See BadLayout1.jpg versus what's in BadLayout2.jpg.

Can someone please tell me how to adjust this layout so that it properly shows the field data in Browse mode?

Thanks.

H

It isn't clear without seeing the file but those fields except the first appear to be temp fields so they wouldn't have data unless script sets global variables.

Right! We just now figured that out...

So, call off the dogs - it's supposed to be that way.

I just paniced when I experienced it and didn't know what to expect. Much ado about nothing.

Thanks for stopping in...
