I have this layout...  a record gets auto generated    auto increment Id # 

 

There is a Add button and a Delete button.,,

but the user clicks the top right corner X

 

Can i prevent the X being enabled?

You mean stop the user from closing the window? Use custom menus.

If someone is using version 12 they can use modal 'Dialog' window which allows window controls such as unchecking Close.  We've needed this for so long, huh Vaughan! :yep:

Indeed... all my clients are still on FM 11 so I haven't put a lot of effort in FM 12 development yet.
