Wim Decorte
Hello - Is it possible to authenticate to two directories - OD and AD each on separate computers. cheers As Vaughan stated: no. How would that even work if it could be possible? What if the same account had different groups in each Directory? The whole point of Directory Services is to centralize authentication, doing it all from one place. What problem are you trying to solve?
Aussie John
We run a Mac OD and FM server but the parent company uses its own WIN server (AD) so I was looking for an easy way to allow the parent company staff access to our files.
Steven H. Blackwell
Perhaps take a look at either Dave from Thursby or one of the Centrify products. Some of their stuff does AD/OD integration. Possibly you can make some adaptation here. The easiest way may be for you to use a Windows Server and AD. Your Macintosh clients will never have Single Sign On either way, but you can authenticate them against AD. Steven
