mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 For some reason the size of the background changes when I go into layout mode. No matter what I try, I cannot drag it back to regular size. I have attached a screenshot of the problem in layout mode. I can't seem to get the background back to regular size. When I switch out of layout mode, it expands and looks fine. Any easy answer to this problem? Thanks! Mike
Rick Whitelaw Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 It seems to me your layout is the appropriate 37.5 cm wide, no? It looks fine, yes? Layout mode shows the possibilities rather than the result. At least that's my two cents.
mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 It does look fine - except when I look at it in layout mode. Layout mode looked the same as all other modes up till a few days ago, now I can't figure out why it looks different.
Lee Smith Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Your page should have a right hand boarder depending on your page size description. See the orange boarder?
mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Yes but I can't seem to click on any borders to expand laterally. I can make the layout bigger up/down, but can't widen it for some reason.
mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Â Here is another screenshot. I want to drag the blue border (the background) over the the orange border - but there is nothing I can seem to click on for some reason....
Lee Smith Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Its the gray area to the right of your blue background. Hover over it, and you will see the pointer change,
mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 no it doesn't change - I've "hovered" everywhere... just figured it out - had page margins selected in the view menu. Thanks for responding Lee
Lee Smith Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 It works. How about just click on the line I mentioned?
mightymice Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 Ok - fixed it. Had page margins checked on the view menu. Thanks for your responses Lee.
