dbail
After updating to Java 7 on my macintosh I began to get crashes when launching or quitting Filemaker. Looking at the crash log I always saw this message Current thread (000000001746c800): JavaThread "Thread-1" daemon [_thread_in_native, id=-1401656792, stack(00000000bf800000,00000000c0000000)] Stack: [00000000bf800000,00000000c0000000] Java Threads: ( => current thread ) 00000000171a8c00 JavaThread "Timer-0" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1335799808, stack(00000000b0515000,00000000b0615000)] =>000000001746c800 JavaThread "Thread-1" daemon [_thread_in_native, id=-1401656792, stack(00000000bf800000,00000000c0000000)] 00000000249adc00 JavaThread "Low Memory Detector" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1300983808, stack(00000000b2649000,00000000b2749000)] 00000000249acc00 JavaThread "C1 CompilerThread0" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1302040576, stack(00000000b2547000,00000000b2647000)] 00000000249abc00 JavaThread "Signal Dispatcher" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1303097344, stack(00000000b2445000,00000000b2545000)] 00000000249aac00 JavaThread "Surrogate Locker Thread (Concurrent GC)" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1304154112, stack(00000000b2343000,00000000b2443000)] 0000000017464800 JavaThread "Finalizer" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1305210880, stack(00000000b2241000,00000000b2341000)] 0000000017463800 JavaThread "Reference Handler" daemon [_thread_blocked, id=-1306267648, stack(00000000b213f000,00000000b223f000)] Other Threads: 0000000017460c00 VMThread [stack: 00000000b203d000,00000000b213d000] [id=-1307324416] 00000000249af400 WatcherThread [stack: 00000000b274b000,00000000b284b000] [id=-1299927040] I removed the Java installation and the crashing continues. I remove the Supercontainer plugin and there are no more crashes even with Java installed. At this point I cannot use Supercontainer on my Mac. Do I have to go back to Java 6.x??? Joe Pampalon
Hi David, This is a known issue with SuperContainer that we've fixed for an upcoming version. If you send me an email I can give you a link to the new build. Please email me at [email protected], and we can get this taken care of for you.
