I cannot seem to be able to import a windows txt file into FMP without converting it to a mac txt file. 

 

Is there any way to import it directly?

I am on a Mac using Mountain Lion

 

On further investigation, I found that If I open the file using BBEdit, then save it without changing any settings, then filemaker does recognize the file.

 

Funny.  I've looked at length but have not found anything on getting OSX to recognize a text file with a numerical extension (ie XXXXXXX.###) that was made on a windows system.

 

Any ideas?
