I got the persistent I thing, wondering Is this user coming from outside... or inside my net?

I have an app that when started depends on the log on user/password management

whether the user is loggin on using the desktop  app  layout

 

or

 

if the user is logging on IWP, then goes to there specified layout to view their own customer data.

 

 

 

As i set here watching... which users comes through my User/ Password control layout I am  storing their Persistent unique #

 

I suppose, I can recognize who the signing in,  as by setting maybe a global fields at log in

 

 

Just wondering if their is a way to recognized if user is coming from outside,,,,IWP

 not worried about my employees operators logging into the desktop...
