I've heard some about how to deal with "Flashing Window", but I don't know what is a Flashing Window.

Just to learn.

Hi Francisco, welcome to FM Forums!!

I've been using FM for 10 years now and I STILL am novice in many things of FM.   :laugh2:

Flashing windows ... it refers to the behaviour (mostly on Windows) in which the screen jumps, jidders and flashes as objects are redrawn on your screen when using FM.  It happens mostly when using portals, tabs or layouts heavy with objects particularly aggregate calculations.  The stress of so much slows the draw and you can see the objects redraw (in huge record sets particularly).  Objects touching can jump when you click onto them also.

There are many techniques available to diminish the flash effect.  Here is a link and the various posts within it contain a few other links.

In version 12, the flash is completely gone even on Windows!!!  It is, without doubt, the greatest thing about version 12 and there are MANY great things about 12.

EDITED:  Forgot the link, LOL.
