Keeping Status Bar Hidden

Featured Replies

Two related files, call 'em Master & Related. For aesthetic reasons, I'm hiding and locking the status bar.

Problem is that when viewing the portal in the Master file, the Related file opens hidden -- without running the preset "Open" script. As a result, the user can click on the Windows menu and open the Related file ... and see the status bar.

I can employ a "Close" script on the Related file that hides & locks the status bar, but it unlocks when it reopens as a hidden file.

Any way to ensure that it stays locked away?

When you initially open the master file, run the "Open" script in the related file.
