Both portal ok main FMadv ver12 station1 - but 2nd stations portal

Featured Replies

I need probably to figure  more information B4,  but maybe something simple will comment back

Station station 1 works real well/

Parent Message file ..

  I have 2 instance  of same ,   in Relationship chart...  1)Alarms,  2)Recurring

Then on a simple layout,

I have 2 portal,

The only difference between each alarm and recurring is a field set .. to 0 or a 1

Never B4  noticed that  on my Remote Log station #2,  or  even on my iPhone...

All the message records are showing in the one Alarm Portal

and other portal skeleton is there..  just not any fields  or data.

All my records are all showing in other portal??

Any quick thing comes to mind why?    I am perplexed !

I always get the strange ones

from the context where the portals are (the Table Occurrence of the layout with the two portals): how is the relationship to Alarm and Recurring set up?  What fields are set to 0 and 1 respectively on that table?  Globals?

Thanks

Gave up..   guess mark that one as bad design..

.. actually afterwards... the single alarm file and relationship was simpler the 2nd time through,,

creating a new instance of parent     ..for both Recurring and One time alarms, using conditional formatting to separate 2 kinds of alarms
