I have a strange issue.  We have a table of data with about 250,000+ records.  On occasion a new record created by one user will show for another user with "??" in some data fields and the other data fields will be blank.   This persists for the affected user until they quit FileMaker and re-open the database.

1) Does not appear to the be typical data corruption issue that shows a "?" in every field.

- Issue only appears one user's FileMaker Pro while other users can see the data fine.

- A restart of the user's FileMaker Pro client always resolves the issue.

- "?" shows as a "??" in some fields while other fields appear blank.

2) Issue appears to affect records at random.

3) It appears to only affect a record that was created since the user logged into FileMaker.  Never older records.  Does not re-occur on the same record.

We are running FileMaker Server 12v.0.4 on a Mac Server and FileMaker Pro 12v.0.4 on Mac Clients running 10.6.8 or 10.7.5.

Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

This sounds like a user issue, machine or file problem. What is their setup (i.e. platform, version, OS)

There are a few other topic areas that this could have been posted in, such as Server, corruption, etc. what made you select the Layout area to post this question? is there a specific layout where this seems to happen with?
