Hi there... I'm trying to create a custom function which can remove value list items if a partial match is found

 

 

eg:

Aluminium (0)
Aluminium Effect (0)
Black (2)
Saphire Blue (0)
Silver (0)
Soft Ivory (0)
Stainless Ice (0)
Stainless Steel (0)
White (20)
Yellow (0)

 

I am trying to remove all the occurances or (0) thereby leaving

 

Black (2)

White (20)

 

Any ideas?

 

Instead of "partial match", could we formulate your quest as "remove all values ending with thisString"?

Hiya... yes actually I have found a custom function to do what I wanted now...

Now how do I get to

(Ie delete everything in the brackets at the end!)

 

How do I do that?

I guess you need to modify that function to output only the first n -1 words of the passed value, where n = WordCount (value ). That's assuming ALL passed values have this suffix.
