January 16, 201412 yr Would anyone have come across this before? On the server are two data files: 1) Data 2) Print Layouts (layouts that refer to the data in Data) From my UI file, if I do a "perform script on server" which calls a script IN the Data file that modifies records in the Data file, theres on problem. But if I perform a script on the server (a script in Print Layouts) that modifies records in Data, I get: Warning 661 <server name> Client "delete existing stickers (type, school) - <username> 9 (administrator’s Mac mini) [127.0.0.1]" authentication failed on database "Data.fmp12" using "<username> [fmapp]". Where <username> is a Full Access account in all files. To be sure, I tested... and I can open up Data.fmp12, and modify records without error. And a script in the Data file modifying records also has no error. But a script from another file (Print Layouts) appears to be locked out of the Data file.
January 16, 201412 yr Author Ah, I found my answer. It's a known bug, apparently: http://forums.filemaker.com/posts/ad61a7e781?commentId=270578#270578 Dang gosh darn it!
