Keeping a layout active

I was wondering whether it was possible to keep a layout active while going to other layouts.

Specifically, with web viewer, if you leave the layout and return to it, it needs to reload. Is it possible to keep the layout with the web viewer on it active while searching through things on another layout?

Why not attach a copy, or a mockup of your file and we can see first hand what you are trying to do.
