bcooney Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Since the "export with zero found count" trick is not supported on FMGo, is there an equivalent way to script the deletion of a file?
Rgordon Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I use this all the time in fmgo 12 and 13. What doesn't work is the Export Field contents trick. 1
bcooney Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 That's odd..when I select the Export Records script step, and select file type "FileMaker Pro", it shows NOT COMPATIBLE if I have iOS selected in Show Compatibility. Edit: My goal is delete an old version of the FMGo file.
Rgordon Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 FileMaker Go can not export records to a FileMaker file in any situation. I set the file I want to delete in a variable and then as a file type I select tab-separated. As long as the variable is set to the FileMaker file, it will work using the tab-separated file type. 1
