Is there any way to send multiple email attachments without a plug in?

I know this question has been asked before but now with FM13 have they fixed this? Any thoughts?

I was thinking a script that says export doc/send email/attach document, then go back, export doc 2, find email window, attach document 2, etc etc?

curious what reason may exist for not deploying a plugin for this task?
