I am really dumbfounded as to what I might be doing wrong, I input the details then tap save then when i re-enter there's nothing there, only the recent ones remain, what am I missing out? 

This is a quirk in FMGO. The host is saved in the recent section.

hmm, and that gets populated with lots of things you might want to remove but can't, it's a bit of a needless mess really, and a bug to me.
